We will be closed for the Holidays from 12/21/07 to 1/2/08. Any orders (excluding custom orders) made during this time will be sent 1/5/08 at the latest. Orders placed before Dec 30th will count toward the Child's Play Donation, even though they will not ship until 1/5/08.

We are once again raising money for Child's Play! Beginning 11/20/07 20% of all website sales, including custom orders, clearance and discount items, will be donated to Child's Play.

The moving Sale is extended through October 29, 2006. Also, we have updated the return policy. It now states that you may return any items within 90 days of purchase (to give early gift buyers plenty of time) and that repairs
are guaranteed for life, except in cases where the damage was caused due to action or lack of action by someone (i.e. the dog chews it up, the baby pulls it apart, etc.)

We have put everything on sale because Happy Hippy jewelry is moving again! We have put some older styles
back up on the site at very reduced prices. Also, this week
is the last week of the farmer's market in Sandpoint and we will be there from 9-3.

We have been displaying our jewelry regularly at the Sandpoint Farmer's Market on saturday mornings from 9am-1pm. We have some custom items and some discounts that aren't available on the site. Come visit us there!
Also, we will be on vacation Aug 29 through Sept 6. This means that any orders placed from the 28th to the 6th will go out by monday Sept 11th.

Happy Hippy Jewelry is having a moving sale! We are moving locations and need to reduce inventory. ALL ITEMS ON THE SITE ARE BUY TWO GET ONE FREE through june 5th. To take advantage of the sale, simply order the two items you want, then put the name of the lower priced item that you want in the comments when you check out.
This sale applies to any items already in the happy hippy inventory. This includes items that are already made but not on the site, so, you can ask to see whether or not we have something you want in inventory. However, the sale does not include custom items. We also added some new pieces and moved some to the discount section in anticipation of fully enacting the new standards.

We are still working on getting things in order with the site for the new quality standards. Some of the pieces in the main catalog presently meet them.
These Standards will apply to all sections of the catalog except the "discount" section. (the difference between these two sections
is noted in the FAQ)
The standards are:
- All "soft" necklaces and bracelets will be strung on wire that is 49 strand or better unless the beads absolutely will not fit on 49 strand wire.
- No plastic or acrylic beads will be used.
- Wooden beads will only be used if they are specialty beads, such as hand painted or hand carved.
- Imitation gemstones will only be used if natural stones of that type are not generally available.
- All metal findings will be silver plate, gold plate, gold filled, vermeil or better.
- All craft wire that is visible will be silver plate, sterling silver, gold plate, gold filled or better.
- Structural craft wire that is not visible excepting loops on the end may be tarnish resitant craft wire.
- All materials will be noted in a piece's description.

We added some new pieces and updated several things on the site. As a way to celebrate spring and the updates to the page, we have
decided to make all custom orders 20% off until april. We are much closer to getting the quality standards in place, and should be revealing them soon.

We have updated the custom section of our website to include newer pieces and more details about the pieces.
We also have a new custom order form which you can use to
inquire about custom pieces. In addition to the projects mentioned in previous posts, Happy Hippy is considering hosting

in participating. Also, Please note that Easter orders need to be in by Saturday April 8th, and custom easter orders need to be in by Saturday March 25th.

We are working on several projects for the business and website. First, we are slowly working on establishing materials and quality standards for any new jewelry pieces.
Once they are fully in place all pieces in the main section of the catalog will meet those standards.
Any pieces that do not meet those standards will be placed in the discount section.
The second project is that we are working on new custom pages so that you can better understand our capabilities and how to order these pieces.

You may notice some changes around the site. The pricing has been updated per a previous post. Also, many of the pieces have been removed for the time being, but they will return with the exception of a few in the inventory that are no longer up to Happy Hippy quality standards.
We will also be adding new pictures soon so that you can better see our items! We appreciate your patience during the changes so that we can continue to bring you quality merchandise.

You may notice a shift in focus on the site over the next few weeks. We love jewelry-making and don't get a chance to do enough of it. We also love challenges
and would like to challenge ourselves more in the new year, so you will start seeing some different types of jewelry pieces and more focus on custom orders, which are the biggest challenges and the most fun.
Also, since happy hippy has moved, our expenses to create jewelry have changed greatly, but our prices have not changed to reflect this. The items that are on sale will remain on sale until Feb 14th. On Feb 15th, prices for the entire site
will be changed.

Please note that all Valentine's Day orders need to be in by Wednesday, February 8th in order to be recieved by Valentine's Day.
All "Nature of Romance" and "Love Blossom" orders need to be in by Monday february 6th as they are made to order items. Any custom Valentine's
requests need to be in by Friday, Feb 3rd at the absolute latest.

We're back from vacation and ready to process any orders. Orders made after today but by tuesday morning will probably arrive on or before christmas assuming that there are no changes or customizations to the order. Express shipping options are available for orders at any time, and fees for that will be based on the carrier's rate. The carrier used will depend on how fast you need it. Custom orders made at this time may or may not arrive before Christmas depending on the complexity of the piece and the availability of materials.
Also, We have raised $51.90 for Child's Play Charity through sales and donations so far.

We added several Holiday items, Including, ornaments, earrings, necklaces and a set. We also updated the Return policy and shipping information to reflect the holidays. All sales made from November 25th until Christmas will be returnable until January 25th. Holiday Orders need to be recieved by the 18th and custom holiday orders need to be recieved by the 9th. We will be on vacation from the 12th through the 18th. All orders recieved then will be processed beginning the 19th and should be available in time for Christmas.
