Hillary Wilson

Artist and Proprietor

Hillary has been involved in arts and crafts all of her life. She started beading professionally in 2001, but had made things for herself and friends before then. She has also been involved in other types of arts, which have influenced her creativity and style for jewelry. She has been dancing for 23 years, was involved with choir throughout middle and high school, and participated in art classes all through her childhood.

Hillary enjoys every aspect of the jewelry business, even sitting out in the sun for eight hours at a time. She enjoys meeting people and sharing her creative nature with them. She says her favorite part of beading is creating new designs. Hillary's proudest accomplishment as a jeweler is a wedding gift she made for a customer in less than 2 weeks time.

Beth Edwards

Assistant

Beth helps Happy Hippy in many ways. She acts as an assistant buyer, looking everywhere she goes for new and exciting beads for Hillary to work with. She finds art and craft shows for Happy Hippy to attend, and assists at those shows on occasion as well. She also helped encourage Hillary’s creativity by allowing her to participate in dance and art classes, and simply by being a supportive mother.

Beth is a preschool teacher who uses a very eclectic, hands-on approach with her children. She enjoys helping with the Kids Craft at shows, and even helped design the activity so it would be kid-friendly and age appropriate. She also enjoys helping customers find the piece that is just right for them.
